Information you submit

The site does not provide a feature for submitting a name, telephone number, email address, message thread, case description, or document. Do not send personal records to an address that merely resembles this domain.

Search

Site search runs in your browser against a static index. The words you type are not sent to a Spam Text Relief search server, because there is no such server.

Your search terms are recorded in analytics. When you run a search, the words you typed are placed in the page address, and that address is sent to Google Analytics along with the page view. We use this to learn which questions people arrive with and which guides to write next.

Please do not type personal information into the search box. Do not enter your phone number, the number that contacted you, your name, an address, or an account number. Search for the topic instead. Personal details typed into search would be recorded along with everything else, and they are not needed to find anything on this site.

Hosting logs

Like most websites, the hosting provider may process basic request information needed to deliver and secure pages, such as an IP address, requested path, timestamp, browser information, and error data. This static build does not add its own analytics or tracking layer.

Cookies and browser storage

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which guides people read. It sets cookies in your browser for that purpose. It is configured so that advertising storage, Google advertising signals, and ad personalization are all switched off, and IP addresses are anonymized. Your activity here is not used to build an advertising profile or to target ads at you anywhere.

What is collected: the pages you view, how far you scroll, links you follow off the site, and the words you type into site search. See the Search section above before using the search box. You can block all of this with any tracker-blocking extension or a browser "do not track" setting, and the site will work normally.

The site sets no other cookies and does not store search history or preferences in local storage. External government links have their own privacy practices after you leave this site.

Future changes

Any future feature that collects information must pass a separate privacy, retention, security, and authorization review before release. This policy will be updated before such a feature becomes active.
