About the publication

Understanding unwanted texts and calls.

Spam Text Relief publishes under its own masthead. It is a consumer education publication, not a law firm or a service for evaluating individual cases.

Scope and limits

We publish practical guides to unwanted communications, explanations of official sources, and aggregate analysis of federal complaint data. We do not identify callers from reported numbers, accept personal records, provide individualized advice, or offer representation. A report is not proof of a violation, and complaint counts are not counts of unique people.

How automation is used

Automated systems assist with research, drafting, source comparison, calculations, testing and publication. An authorized drafting run can publish after its checks pass, without routine owner sign-off. This is not a promise of human or attorney review.

Checks can detect missing citations, inconsistent calculations and some prohibited content. They cannot establish that every statement is correct, that all relevant law has been found, or that a source applies to an individual situation. Automated source judgments can be wrong. Private accountability records do not constitute independently inspectable public credentials.

Source policy

Material legal explanations should link to official statutes, regulations, agency materials or court decisions and identify relevant limits. Agency consumer guidance supports practical orientation; it does not resolve every legal question. Data analysis keeps agencies separate and describes the reporting dates, coverage and assumptions used. Read our methodology and data notes.

Corrections and updates

Material corrections are recorded on our sources and corrections page, identifying what changed and why. Update dates describe actual editorial changes, not an automatic freshness label. No public corrections mailbox or submission channel is currently available. Do not send personal records to an address inferred from this domain.
